Congratulations, liberal Democrats. You won. I wish you all the best.
But I also wish that you suddenly realize that half of the country voted against your candidate. This was not a ringing, overwhelming success. This was decided by about 3 million people.

Oh? Because I seem to recall that 50.7% to 48.3% was touted as a "mandate" when Bush won it in '04.
We've earned political capital, and we're going to SPEND IT!!!

Bush got lucky in '04, no question about it.
We stole the election in Florida. You stole the election in Ohio. I figure we'll be even in '12.
