Fellas and Cinderellas, we live in a multi-tiered legal system.
We have the politicians.
We have the rich.
And the rest of us exist in a system that couldn't care less.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm a history and political science guy. Truth be told, I'm a huge fan of the judicial branch and what they bring to the table. But the system has been twisted from one designed to create equality among the masses, to one of, by, and for the almighty dollar.
Justice is no longer blind because she is equal and just, she is blind because she can't stand to watch anymore.
